Lego & Mei Mei
All pictures taken with EOS-3, 135mm f/2L. Kodak ColorPlus 200. Original film scans, sharpened and resized in CS3.
Decided to test out 135mm f/2L on the EOS-3 by grabbing some snaps of our dogs at my parents’ place in KB. Love the 135mm on my 40D – but it’s a totally different beast on full-frame.
First up – Mei Mei – she was very camera shy at first. Running away the instant i pointed the lens at her… managed to grab this as she was distracted by the practice golf balls.

Hehe… you can actually see a very out of focus Lego in the background.

Later on, she wasn’t quite as camera shy anymore.

Lego, on the other hand, had no qualms with the camera. He’s very photogenic isn’t he?

The camera loves him!

Waited for him to give me a cute sad eyes look… hehe.

I love the look film gives… sure it costs around 50 cents per exposure… but amazing straight of the camera shots no digital comes close to.
