Singapore Weekend / Au Jardine
Hi all… spent the weekend in Singapore. Actually this will be a very random post of photos I took. First some pics are Cavenagh Bridge which I grabbed after getting off the wrong MRT station… :s

The Fullerton Hotel:

Another view with the Ferry Tours.

Fast forward to dinner time… a couple of semi-candids of Rena.

We had dinner at a place called Au Jardin. It’s smack in the middle of the Singapore Botanical Gardens.

Not really the first course. More like an appetiser / palate cleanser. I definitely fail as a food blogger because half the time when the course does arrive I am too excited to try it, and end up only remembering to take a picture of it halfway through it! :p

Squid “Mosaic” Carpaccio, sea urchin, iced salad, ponzu

Alaskan Crab “radish ravioli”, aquitaine caviar, acacia honey mustard vinaigrette

A half eaten Langoustine grilled bamboo shoot, Iberian ham, parmesan

Pot Au Feu of chicken, en cocotte

A half eaten Amberjack “mi-cuit”, jerusalem artichoke veloute

Wagyu braised cheek, grilled strip loin, swiss chard

Spicy Chocolate Ice Cream vanilla corn, cinnamon gelee

Hmm what can I say about the food? Definitely worth it although there’s still a long list of places I wanna eat at in Singapore.
For real food reviews, check out my friend’s blog. They say London food is crap, but he makes you wanna go there just to eat!
Grabbed a couple of detail shots before we left:

Went for a few drinks after that and grabbed a few shots of the band. I think they’re called Lockdown. I added a little bit of x-process action in photoshop to make the colours a little funkier, but what you see is really not far off from what it was like. Ah… love my 5D2. It really does deliver beautiful files even at ISO3200.
